The Cross Walk

The Word and a smart word.

THE WORD:
i was watching Church on the Rock in Winnipeg and was reminded again of Jos 1:8 [Jos 1:8 NKJV] 8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

…and corollary in Jeremiah 1:12 Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.

So I was thinking that as we speak Gods word He will perform it, Its not our words that have Gods power but His. So meditating and feeding on his Word not only nourishes our usually starved Spirit Man but allows for the whole power of Heaven to perform Gods Word we have dined on.

THE SMART WORD:
Now that I have your attention a disturbing thing happened to our family that I am warning ALL my friends about, if you have a so called smart TV know this. The microphone and possibly the built in camera ARE ACTIVE ALWAYS. I had heard a rumor about this but was surprised how well it works. My wife was phoning her parents who have a LG 5400 smart tv and a telus optic tv connection. Anyways while she was calling BEFORE they answered she heard her parents conversation in the living-room! So if you can turn off the microphone or camera in your TV settings…please do unless you like others being able to listen to your private conversations. Because who knows if it goes beyond the telephone to the internet transferring of your conversations. BIG Brother is alive and well.

So what are your thoughts about this?
